Ordering, sizing, materials, and drops — answered in the same plain language we use on the shoebox. If you need more, the contact ledger is at the bottom of the page.
Common questions
001
Are Sole Archive releases limited?
Yes. Every drop is produced as a numbered edition — typically 250 to 500 pairs depending on the silhouette. Once a drop sells out, we do not restock. Remaining inventory is always listed in real time on each product page.
002
How do I find my size?
Each product page includes a size chart measured against a Brannock device. Our Court and Technical lines fit true to size; the Runner line has a slightly roomier toe box, so half-size-down is suggested if you prefer a snug fit.
003
What materials do you use?
Full-grain leather from a single Italian tannery, suede rated for 10,000 flex cycles, custom-woven mesh where the design calls for it, and a cork-latex footbed that molds to your stride over time. Every material is listed on the product index.
004
Where do you ship?
We ship worldwide from our archive studio. Domestic orders arrive in 3–5 business days; international orders in 7–14 days depending on customs. All shipments are insured and tracked.
005
Can I return or exchange a pair?
Unworn pairs in original packaging can be returned within 14 days. Exchanges are subject to remaining inventory. Because editions are small, we recommend confirming your size before ordering.
006
How do I know when a new drop releases?
Join the Archive List via the footer or the contact page. Subscribers get a 24-hour early notice before each public drop, plus studio notes on materials and edition numbers.
007
Do you offer repairs?
We offer a one-year outsole-stitching guarantee and a paid refresh service for insoles and laces. Contact the studio with your order number to book a repair slot.
008
Are your shoes unisex?
Every silhouette is designed on a unisex last and offered in a full size run. The size chart lists US men's, US women's, UK, and EU conversions for each pair.
009
What payment methods do you accept?
All major cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Shop Pay. Orders are charged in USD; international customers may see a conversion fee from their card issuer.
010
Can I visit the archive studio?
The archive room is open by appointment on Thursdays and Fridays. Use the contact form to request a time; appointments are limited to four visitors per slot.
